Virtual Design For Wellness & Recovery Spaces

Design solutions for residential, commercial, fitness, and wellness spaces.

Your recovery space, designed by the team who builds the equipment.

Our design team brings the same expertise behind our recovery equipment into the spaces where it lives. From residential wellness rooms to gyms and commercial recovery facilities, we've helped shape spaces that balance performance, functionality, and a cohesive design.

We work alongside your builder, architect, or contractor to provide the design direction they need to bring the space to life. Our team develops the layout, equipment placement, finishes, fixtures, and key design details—giving your build team a clear vision to execute.

How it works

Our Process

A simple, guided path from application to installation.

  1. Free Consultation

We start by learning about your space, goals, and vision. Our team will discuss your recovery needs, project scope, equipment, and overall aesthetic to establish a clear direction for the design.

  2. Design Development

Our team brings the vision to life through thoughtful space planning, mood boards, equipment selection, fixtures, finishes, and design details. We collaborate with you throughout the process to make sure every element works together.

  3. Design Delivery With Finishes & Equipment

Once the design is finalized, we provide your builder or contractor with the plans, specifications, and finish selections needed to execute the space—along with the recovery equipment and fixtures that complete it.

What does LIT’s interior design service include?

Our design services help take your wellness space from concept to completion. Depending on your project, our team can assist with space planning, floor plans, equipment placement, finish and material selections, lighting direction, furniture and fixture recommendations, and renderings.

Every space is designed around how you want to experience wellness—while ensuring your sauna, cold plunge, red light therapy, and other recovery equipment feel intentionally integrated into the environment.

Do you design both residential and commercial wellness spaces?

Yes. We design wellness spaces for both residential and commercial projects.

Residential projects can range from dedicated home recovery rooms and home gyms to indoor/outdoor sauna and cold plunge spaces, primary-suite wellness areas, and complete home spas.

Commercial projects include recovery studios, gyms, spas, hotels and resorts, multifamily developments, medical and wellness clinics, private clubs, and other hospitality and wellness environments.

Can you design my home wellness or recovery room?

Absolutely. We can transform an existing room—or help plan a new space—into a dedicated wellness environment built around your routine.

Whether you're envisioning a sauna and cold plunge, a complete contrast therapy room, red light therapy, or a full home spa experience, we'll help create a space that feels cohesive with the rest of your home.

Can you design an outdoor wellness space?

Yes. We can help design outdoor recovery spaces incorporating cold plunges, saunas, showers, relaxation areas, and other wellness elements.

We'll consider equipment placement, circulation, privacy, materials, weather exposure, and how the space connects with your home or property.

Can you design a wellness space from scratch?

Yes. We can begin with an empty room, architectural plans, a new construction project, or simply an idea.

Our team will help determine the layout, equipment placement, materials, finishes, lighting, and overall design direction to create a space that feels intentional from the beginning.

Can you work with my architect, builder, contractor, or interior designer?

Yes. We frequently collaborate with architects, builders, contractors, interior designers, and other project professionals.

Our team brings specialized knowledge around wellness equipment and recovery-space design so these elements can be incorporated into the project early rather than added as an afterthought.

What do you need from me to get started?

To begin, we'll typically ask for floor plans or room dimensions, photos or videos of the space, any existing architectural drawings, and inspiration images that reflect the look you're trying to achieve.

We'll also discuss how you want to use the space, which wellness modalities you're interested in, your preferred aesthetic, project timeline, and overall budget.

How much do LIT design services cost?

Design fees depend on the size and complexity of your project and the level of design support you need.

Once we understand your space and vision, we'll recommend the appropriate design package and provide a clear scope of work and pricing before the project begins.

How long does the design process take?

Timelines vary depending on the scope of the project. A single residential recovery room may require a much different design process than a full home spa, recovery studio, or hospitality project.

We'll establish your expected timeline, deliverables, and key milestones at the beginning of the project.
